Chemical Reactions

  • Undergoes condensation with triacetylmethane in toluene with p-toluenesulfonic acid catalyst to form 3-[1-(2,6-diisopropylphenylamino)ethylidene]pentane-2,4-dione
  • Reacts with bis(trimethylsilylmethyl)yttrium complexes supported by bulky amidopyridinate and amidinate ligands to produce yttrium alkyl anilido species with elimination of TMS (Trimethylsilane)
